The 15" and 17" screen Aluminum G4 DDR PowerBook models have two memory expansion slots. Within the series there are 3 distinct versions that each require their specific design modules.

Be VERY careful identifying your 1.67GHz models as they came in two bus speeds. The earlier 1.67GHz models have 333MHz bus speeds and use DDR RAM. The LAST 1.67GHz models produced have 533MHz bus speeds and use DDR2 RAM. THESE MODELS USE VERY DIFFERENT RAM, CHECK YOUR MACHINE'S SYSTEM PROFILER DATA IF UNSURE.
*1.67GHz DDR2 "High Res Screen" models are the newest and require Apple spec DDR2-533 PC2-4200 modules.
*1.5-1.67Ghz models use DDR Apple spec 200 pin DDR333 PC2700 SODIMMs
*1GHz -1.33Ghz machines use special "bus slewing" design DDR333 PC2700 SODIMMs. This was a power saving system employed in the early models.

All models will accept up to a total of 2GB via two 1GB modules.
